My name is Blake Manning and I’m an avid fishing guide in Northern California. I grew up fishing along the coastline from here in the heart of Wine Country all the way to Kvichak River in Alaska. The first steelhead I caught when I was just a knee high on the Russian River and that set the tone for the love of fishing. I strive to give my clients the best experience possible even in some of the toughest conditions. I feel being a guide isn’t just being a great fisherman, but also someone who has a great personality and can get along with anyone. When people ask who the best fisherman I have fished with I always respond “my Dad”. I guide on various different rivers throughout the Northern part of the state but mainly the Russian River, and the South/Main Eel rivers. My goal on any day is to catch fish, show people a great time, and have someone walk away with some new knowledge and an experience they will share for their lifetime.
