Son Tao

Son Tao is a First Sergeant in the United States Army, award winning fly tyer and passionate fly fisherman. He's well known on social media for his meticulously tied flies, photography and chasing fish all over the United States.

Son began his fly fishing journey in 2016 as a way to escape the demons of numerous combat tours to the Middle East. The serenity and focus that comes with fly fishing was a perfect match. Ever since then, if Son's not training Soldiers, he's out somewhere with his fly rod.
