Jason Faerman

Jason Faerman is a passionate angler the co-founder of Yakoda Supply in Boulder, Colorado. Born in New York City and raised in the Hudson Valley, Jason found his happy place early in life with a fishing rod in hand. When he moved out to Colorado in the mid 90’s, he picked up a fly rod and the rest is history. He currently lives in the mountains above Boulder, Colorado with his beautiful wife, son & daughter. If Yakoda Supply sounds familiar, that’s because Douglas Outdoors partnered with them on a trip and video in summer 2019! It’s a beautiful piece shot high up in the Rocky Mountains. Jason is also featured on the cover of our 2020 catalog. He’s got a knack for landing some big trout and we were lucky enough to get some incredible footage of one being landed on a Douglas 9’ 6wt Sky.
