I guess It all started about 2 weeks after I was born. Somehow my dad talked my mom into idling around close to the boat ramp for my first time in a bass boat. You could say I got the itch for fishing right away and as I got older seeing all the tournaments that my dad had won. It really made me want to get into fishing tournaments so I could win like him. But one thing he always taught me is to use the products that you have trust in. That's Douglas rods for me. The sensitivity, how light the rods and how much you can rely on them to get the fish in the boat is just flat out amazing. With trying to win a tournament I wouldn't want to put my trust in anything else. That's why I choose Douglas rods!
