Bill Nolan

Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Originally from Spain, Bill grew up and currently resides in Lancaster, PA. From a young age he learned to fish with conventional tackle for trout, bass, and catfish with his father and friends. On a Salmon fishing to trip to Salmon River, NY, and at the encouragement of his friends, Bill picked up a fly rod and an obsession quickly ensued. Since that time, Bill has become an active member of Trout Unlimited, volunteering with conservation, and running the Veterans Service Partnership through Donegal TU, and is now the state coordinator as well. Through his time supporting others Bill discovered a passion for instructing. He is a graduate of Sweetwater Travel Guide School and the Wulff School of Fly Fishing. Today he can be found floating several rivers in search of Trout and Bass, as well as guiding for his local fly shop and his own guide service, PA Troutfitters.
